Job Overview
USA Dream Stone is seeking a dependable and hardworking Installer Helper to assist our installation team with the delivery and installation of granite, quartz, and other stone countertops. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
The Installer Helper supports Lead Installers by helping load materials, transport countertops, prepare job sites, carry and position stone pieces, clean work areas, and assist with basic installation tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Installers with daily countertop installations.
- Help load, unload, carry, and stage granite, quartz, and other stone materials.
- Safely handle heavy stone pieces, tools, equipment, and installation supplies.
- Assist with preparing job sites before installation.
- Help position countertops, sinks, backsplashes, and related materials.
- Assist with setting seams, applying adhesive, caulking, and cleanup as directed.
- Protect customer property by using proper care when moving materials through homes or job sites.
- Keep trucks, tools, and installation areas clean and organized.
- Remove debris and dispose of waste materials properly.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, and customers.
- Report any job site issues, damage, missing materials, or safety concerns to the Lead Installer or supervisor.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction, countertop installation, stone fabrication, moving, warehouse, or general labor preferred.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy materials.
- Comfortable working in customers’ homes, construction sites, and commercial locations.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license preferred but not required, depending on company needs.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy stone materials with assistance.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying.
- Work is performed at customer homes, commercial job sites, construction sites, and company facilities with travel required as part of the installation team.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors around loud equipment, dust, tools, varying temperatures, stairs, and tight spaces.
- Personal protective equipment is required.
- Job Type: Full-time, in-person position.
